Alabama gymnastics wins 2 national titles, but not coveted team trophy

Alabama Women’s Gymnastics scores teamwide NIL deal with CrowdPush

  • Every member of the Alabama women’s gymnastics team has signed a potentially lucrative name, image and likeness deal with fan-based platform CrowdPus (per Business of College Sports Kristi Dosh).

  • Each gymnast will act as a brand ambassador for CrowdPush, posting at least twice during the upcoming season. Additionally, each will take part in a 30-minute interview discussing the impact NIL is having on SAs and on them personally. CrowdPush signed its first brand ambassador earlier this month, Mississippi State WR Austin Williams.

  • The platform’s approach is to allow fans to donate to “pushes” for specific teams. A fan can donate toward a specific team and then CrowdPush uses the funds raised to pay the student athletes from that team to promote CrowdPush. According to its website, a minimum of 85-90% of all funds received from fans will be used to contract with student athletes on the specified team. …
