Alabama Women’s Gymnastics scores teamwide NIL deal with CrowdPush
Every member of the Alabama women’s gymnastics team has signed a potentially lucrative name, image and likeness deal with fan-based platform CrowdPus (per Business of College Sports Kristi Dosh).
Each gymnast will act as a brand ambassador for CrowdPush, posting at least twice during the upcoming season. Additionally, each will take part in a 30-minute interview discussing the impact NIL is having on SAs and on them personally. CrowdPush signed its first brand ambassador earlier this month, Mississippi State WR Austin Williams.
The platform’s approach is to allow fans to donate to “pushes” for specific teams. A fan can donate toward a specific team and then CrowdPush uses the funds raised to pay the student athletes from that team to promote CrowdPush. According to its website, a minimum of 85-90% of all funds received from fans will be used to contract with student athletes on the specified team. …
